Prostheses of HOPE
The situation of the injured in the Gaza Strip is extremely worrying. To be more precise: it’s dramatic. Due to the ongoing conflict and unstable political environment, many innocent people suffer serious injuries in the brutal chaos of war on the streets of Gaza, often leading to amputations.
The exact number of people who have lost one or more limbs varies and is constantly changing due to ongoing violence and limited access to appropriate medical care. The only thing that is certain is that the number is increasing every day. The official authorities currently speak of around 20,000 people who need a prosthesis.
Physical and psychological challenges
The situation is extremely challenging for those affected by amputation – both physically and psychologically. On the one hand, they have to deal with the physical consequences and limitations of their injuries, but on the other hand they also have to deal with social stigma. They often face financial difficulties and limited access to appropriate rehabilitation and prosthetic care.
The limited resources in the Gaza Strip make it difficult everyday to meet the needs of these seriously injured people. There is a lack of everything: financial resources, qualified specialists and adequate infrastructure for the production and adjustment of prostheses, and there is a lack of an appropriate environment for the rehabilitation of those affected.
The “Together for Gaza” alliance is committed
But there are bright spots, there is hope. In the form of organizations and initiatives that strive to help those affected and improve their quality of life. We at the “Together for Gaza” alliance work closely with these organizations.
How do we help?
Through humanitarian aid and donations, prostheses are made, later rehabilitation programs are carried out and psychosocial support is provided to give the injured a better future.
It is critical to draw attention to the needs of Gaza’s dramatically injured population and provide support. This is the only way to improve these living conditions, and this is the only way to give people back hope and dignity. This is the only way we can change their future for the better. That is exactly our goal: our humanitarian aid aims to give amputation victims a second chance.

You can Help too!
And you can help too. With your support, we can produce high-quality prostheses that not only restore mobility, but also dignity and independence.
Every contribution counts, every donation helps. Together we can help the people of Gaza improve their quality of life. Together we can plant hope in the hearts of those who need it most. They are small, delicate plants. But these plants can grow. Let’s create a wave of solidarity and compassion together. Let’s change lives together. Support our humanitarian aid to Gaza and give the injured a new chance for a fulfilling life.
